Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care to residents in accordance with care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
- Monitor, record, and report changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to deliver quality care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow regulatory requirements
- Support a safe, clean environment and assist with patient comfort and ADLs
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted North Carolina LPN license (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required or obtain upon hire)
- Minimum practical nursing training completed; 1+ year of LPN experience preferred
- Ability to work the scheduled night/evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
- Up-to-date immunizations and TB testing as required by facility
- Ability to pass background check and any facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Diploma or Certificate in Practical Nursing (LPN)
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong medication administration and documentation skills
- Basic assessment and vital sign monitoring expertise
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Comfort working in long-term care/rehab settings
- Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
