Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside care to residents as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Monitor vital signs, observe changes, and report concerns promptly to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately following facility policy
- Document resident care and clinical observations clearly in the medical record
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
- Support resident comfort, dignity, and independence through person-centered care
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in North Carolina (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Previous LPN experience preferred — night-shift experience a plus
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- LPN diploma or practical nursing certificate; active NC LPN license required
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Basic nursing assessments and vital sign monitoring
- Wound care and basic restorative techniques
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
- Infection control practices and safety procedures
- Good time management and prioritization on busy shifts
