Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care tailored to individual needs
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Observe and report changes in patient condition promptly to the care team
- Support patient and family education to promote recovery and wellness
- Contribute to a positive, patient-first culture on your unit
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — must be valid or eligible in Georgia
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Comfortable with medication administration, basic wound care, and charting
- Professional, dependable, and committed to quality patient care
Education
- LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and monitoring
- Medication administration and documentation
- Basic wound care and vital sign management
- Electronic health record charting (experience helpful)
- Teamwork, clinical judgment, and time management
