Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to patients as an LPN, ensuring safety and comfort
Administer medications and treatments accurately, following physician orders and facility protocols
Perform routine assessments, document changes, and escalate concerns to the RN or provider
Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, coordinating care with the healthcare team
Support patients with daily living activities while promoting independence and dignity
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate, timely charting in the electronic medical record and uphold compliance standards

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Maryland required
CPR/BLS certification required or must obtain upon hire
1+ years of recent LPN experience preferred, especially in long-term care or similar settings
Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program; high school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation
Basic patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
Wound care basics and infection control practices
Comfortable using electronic medical record systems for charting
Good clinical judgement and the ability to prioritize tasks
Clear verbal and written communication with patients and the care team
