Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living and comfort measures
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning while following proper body mechanics
• Maintain patient dignity and privacy while delivering bedside care
• Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and the care team to support coordinated care
• Follow infection control policies and facility procedures to keep patients and staff safe

Qualifications

• Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification — New Hampshire certification preferred
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable assisting with patient mobility, ADLs, and basic clinical tasks
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of basic patient care and infection control practices
• Ability to accurately measure and document vital signs
• Competent with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Good observational skills to notice changes in patient condition
• Teamwork, patience, and strong bedside manner
