Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to assigned patients
Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and policies
Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes promptly to the care team
Assist in patient admissions, discharges, and transfers with attention to comfort and safety
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to support coordinated care
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
Adhere to infection control standards and promote a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain)
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a patient-first attitude
Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary care team

Education

Graduation from an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient assessment and basic nursing interventions
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic wound care and infection prevention techniques
Comfortable with electronic charting and clinical documentation
Clear communication skills with patients, families, and team members
Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
