Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a walk-in clinic setting, following established standards and scope of LPN practice.
Triage patients and take accurate vital signs to quickly identify care needs and prioritize treatment.
Serve as the primary liaison between patients, clinic staff, and providers to ensure smooth care coordination.
Manage medication refills and complete prior authorizations to keep patients on track with their treatments.
Support and direct CNAs and schedulers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Document patient encounters clearly and follow clinical policies and state licensure requirements.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members—providers, coordinators, clinical managers, and RNs—to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Current Montana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
Comfortable performing triage, medication refills, prior authorizations, and routine patient assessments.
Experience directing CNAs and working with schedulers or administrative staff is a plus.
Ability to follow state and federal continuing education and licensure requirements.

Education

Graduate of a Nursing Program (LPN)
Completion of BLS training

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and triage skills
Proficient at taking and interpreting vital signs
Familiarity with prior authorization and medication refill workflows
Effective communication and patient liaison abilities
Team-oriented mindset and experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
Basic supervisory skills for guiding CNAs and coordinating with schedulers
