Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 8-hour shifts (schedule varies; days and specific start/end times assigned based on facility needs)

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Perform thorough patient assessments and report changes promptly
Document care clearly in the medical record and communicate with the care team
Collaborate with nursing staff and leadership to ensure continuity of care
Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
Participate in orientation and follow facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

Current LPN license in Pennsylvania required
Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
Current BLS/CPR certification (or obtain upon hire if required by facility)
Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN program
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic IV/clinical skills appropriate to LPN scope
Resident assessment and documentation best practices
Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
Infection control and standard precautions
Ability to triage and escalate patient concerns appropriately
Time management and the ability to work independently on per diem shifts
