Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist and supervise day-to-day nursing activities to ensure smooth operations during your tour of duty
• Provide direct nursing care and patient supervision with compassion and professionalism
• Implement rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices to support resident independence
• Follow federal, state and local regulations and facility policies to maintain high standards of care
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care
• Document resident status, interventions and outcomes accurately and timely to support quality care

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Colorado
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or comparable institution
• Training or experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
• IV certification preferred for LPNs

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of long-term care (LTC) practices and regulatory compliance
• Skilled in patient supervision and delivering direct nursing care
• Experience with rehabilitative and restorative nursing techniques
• Clear communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to resident needs
