Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor resident condition and report changes promptly to the care team
- Document care, observations, and interventions clearly and timely
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated clinical skills in medication administration and resident care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; reliable and professional
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Education
- Practical nursing diploma or equivalent vocational nursing education
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic wound care and vital sign monitoring
- Familiarity with electronic charting or paper charting processes
- Resident-centered care approaches and safety protocols
- Effective communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
