Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments safely and per facility policy
- Perform routine assessments and report changes in patient condition promptly
- Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with the team
- Assist with activities of daily living and support patients' comfort and dignity
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and providers to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable using electronic health records and standard clinical documentation
- Dependable, patient-focused attitude and ability to work independently on per diem shifts
Education
- Practical Nursing diploma or certificate leading to LPN licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fundamentals in medication administration and basic clinical skills
- Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
- Basic wound care and infection control practices
- Clear communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
- Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
