Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per Diem, days vary, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide attentive, respectful bedside care to patients, supporting activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility support
Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately and promptly
Communicate changes in patient status to the nursing team in a timely manner
Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and follow infection control procedures
Support mealtime and hydration needs while documenting intake as required
Contribute to a positive patient experience by offering empathy, dignity, and professionalism

Qualifications

Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential for VT or NH (required)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and required health screenings
Comfortable working overnight hours and adaptable to changing shift needs
Strong communication skills and a teamwork-first attitude

Education

Completion of a state-approved LNA program or equivalent training
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care including ADLs, transfers, and mobility assistance
Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation
Familiarity with infection prevention and safe patient handling
Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Basic electronic charting or comfort learning facility-specific documentation systems
