Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and interpret complex patient data and make timely clinical decisions
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage ventilators per protocol
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and recovery expectations
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (California license expected)
• ICU clinical experience preferred; able to function confidently in critical care settings
• BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts and adapt to dynamic patient needs

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with ICU monitoring equipment and ventilator management
• Knowledge of advanced cardiac life support protocols and emergency response
• Skill in medication administration and IV infusion titration
• Ability to prioritize care for multiple high-acuity patients
• Proficient documentation and electronic medical record usage
