IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Days, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, on-call basis 1-2 weekends per month (30-minute response time)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures using fluoroscopy and C-arm guidance
Assist physicians during angiographic, neurointerventional, and vascular interventions
Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including Cerner EMR for documentation
Maintain sterile technique and prepare contrast media and supplies
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care

Qualifications

Valid California Radiologic Technologist license
ARRT-VI certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology
Current BLS certification
Fluoroscopy permit
Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in interventional radiology techniques and sterile procedures
Strong knowledge of fluoroscopy and radiation safety
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to respond to on-call duties within 30 minutes
Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment
