Location: Baltimore, MD
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support safe mobility and transfers while promoting resident independence
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Document care provided accurately and timely in resident records
- Help create a calm, respectful environment that honors resident dignity
Qualifications
- Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification appropriate for Maryland
- Comfortable working per diem evening shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with nursing staff
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements (background check, health screenings) as needed
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and common age-related needs
- Basic knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
- Ability to take and record vital signs and observe for clinical changes
- Compassionate bedside manner and good documentation habits
