Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and triage patients rapidly and accurately in the emergency department
Provide skilled, evidence-based nursing care to stabilize acute and traumatic patients
Collaborate with physicians, trauma teams, and multidisciplinary staff to coordinate care
Perform timely and thorough documentation, including competency-based checklists
Participate in specialty-specific competency testing and skills validation
Educate patients and families about care plans and post-discharge instructions
Adhere to infection control, respirator, and medication safety protocols

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license (license/certificate verification required)
Current BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
PALS or ENPC required
TNCC required
Level 1 trauma experience preferred
Successful completion of Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist
Compliance with health requirements including Fit Test, respirator evaluation, immunizations, and drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency department nursing and rapid clinical assessment
Trauma care fundamentals and experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
Competency with ACLS, PALS/ENPC algorithms and TNCC principles
Strong clinical documentation and patient safety focus
Team collaboration under high-acuity conditions
Comfort with competency testing and ongoing skills validation
