Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images with precision
• Perform patient assessments and ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging
• Follow established CT protocols and adjust parameters to optimize image quality
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support patient care
• Maintain strict radiation safety and infection control practices
• Document procedures, maintain accurate records, and manage image data in PACS/DICOM

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in CT or radiology (as stated)
• CT Technologist experience operating multi-slice CT scanners
• Certification or registry in radiologic technology/CT (e.g., ARRT-CT) preferred or as required
• Current state licensure or eligibility to be licensed in Florida
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or ability to obtain prior to start
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to travel assignment schedules

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Proficiency with PACS/DICOM systems and image post-processing
• Excellent patient communication and positioning skills
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and quality control
• Ability to troubleshoot CT equipment and escalate issues appropriately
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment
