Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner to acquire high-quality imaging studies (including CTA) for adult and pediatric patients
• Perform portable and fixed radiography as needed, covering ER, inpatient and occasional outpatient areas
• Document studies and patient care accurately in EPIC and archive images in McKesson PACS
• Manage contrast injector use and protocols (Bracco Injector) safely and effectively
• Work independently on night shifts, coordinating with ER and ancillary departments as needed
• Maintain equipment and supplies, and follow department infection-control and fingernail/artificial-nail policies

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Certified radiologic technologist with demonstrable CT experience (advanced knowledge of CT exams required — ARRT CT certification not required)
• Minimum of relevant clinical experience (job notes list 2 years as typical experience level)
• Valid driver’s license required at submittal (radius rule applies)
• Must not have been employed (FT/PT/PRN) by CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity within the past year

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program or equivalent
• ARRT (R) certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with EPIC charting and McKesson PACS workflows
• Experience with Siemens Somatom GoUP CT and CTA protocols
• Familiarity with Siemens Multix X-ray room, Siemens Mobilett Elara Max portable units, and Canon cassette/software
• Skilled in pediatric and adult imaging techniques
• Comfortable performing portable X-rays and working in fast-paced ER environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with clinicians and ancillary staff
