Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Assist residents with mobility and transfers safely and respectfully
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with the care team
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Support therapeutic and recreational activities to promote resident wellbeing

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable with hands-on resident care and safe transfer techniques
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass background checks and any required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational knowledge of basic patient care and infection control
Ability to accurately chart and communicate observations
Basic vital signs measurement and reporting
Compassionate resident-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
