Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while preserving dignity
Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient mobility and transfer techniques
Accurately document patient care and observations in charts or electronic records
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful patient environment at all times

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in good standing
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
Comfortable working directly with patients and performing hands-on care
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and infection control
Skillful in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Comfort with patient lifting and safe transfer techniques
Able to follow care plans and communicate observations effectively
Customer-service oriented approach to patient and family interactions
