Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility needs
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
- Document resident care and observations in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in long-term care or acute settings is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and patient mobility
- Proficient in taking and recording vital signs
- Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
- Good observational skills and the ability to report clinical changes
- Professional, empathetic approach to resident-centered care
