Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, respectful personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
Monitor and accurately document patient conditions and changes
Communicate clearly with nurses and the care team to coordinate care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection-control practices
Support residents' dignity and independence while building trusting relationships

Qualifications

Required: Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania
Required: Ability to work 8-hour shifts as scheduled by the facility
Preferred: Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
Must be able to pass background checks and any facility-required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, documentation, observation
Infection control and safety best practices
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate bedside manner and patient-focused care
