Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care assisting residents with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting and mobility support
Take and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the nursing team
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Support safe transfers and use assistive devices to prevent injury
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Collaborate with nurses and other team members to deliver person-centered care
Encourage resident independence and provide emotional support and companionship

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania required
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care a plus
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in personal care and assisting with ADLs
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs
Knowledge of basic infection control practices
Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
Good time management and prioritization skills
Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
