Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living, offering respectful and compassionate support
Take and accurately record vital signs and patient observations
Support safe transfers and mobility, following proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes to the nursing team
Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff
Provide comforting presence and emotional support to patients and families
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent patient care

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in Pennsylvania required
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or obtained as required by facility
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings (immunizations, TB screening, etc.)
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Reliable attendance and professionalism on every shift

Education

High school diploma or GED; completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living
Comfortable with taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety protocols
Good documentation and time management skills
Compassionate bedside manner and ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting
