Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and mobility with dignity and respect
Take and document vital signs accurately and report any changes to nursing staff
Support safe patient transfers and positioning to prevent injury
Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
Communicate clearly with team members and the care team to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (CT preferred)
Comfortable working 8-hour shifts as required by the facility
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to perform the physical tasks associated with resident care

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational patient care skills and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
Infection control and safe handling practices
Clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and clinical staff
Reliability, empathy, and attention to detail
