Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Support safe patient transfers and maintain a clean, dignified environment
Follow care plans and assist licensed nurses to achieve great patient outcomes
Document care accurately and keep charting up to date so the team stays informed

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required) — Georgia state certification expected
Comfortable and capable of working 12.5-hour shifts
Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and teamwork in patient care settings
Basic infection control knowledge and commitment to patient safety
Ability to pass any facility-required background checks and screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong skills in patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance
Knowledge of basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Good communication and bedside manner with patients and families
Ability to work collaboratively with RNs, LPNs, and interdisciplinary teams
Familiarity with facility policies, infection control, and safety protocols
