Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and support daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility while preserving patient dignity
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control standards
Support patient comfort and emotional wellbeing through attentive, courteous care
Communicate clearly with the care team and document patient interactions accurately

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check, drug screen and any facility-specific requirements
Comfortable providing direct patient care and assisting with activities of daily living
Reliable transportation and flexibility for per-diem scheduling

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification (state-specific as required)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and bedside manner
Basic clinical skills: bathing, feeding, transfers and vital sign collection
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety protocols
Basic documentation skills; experience with electronic medical records is a plus
