Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Assist nursing team with patient transfers, mobility and positioning
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
Chart patient information clearly and communicate effectively with the care team
Support patient comfort and dignity through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (California preferred)
Willingness and availability to work per diem shifts, including daytime coverage
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Basic patient care experience preferred; open to newly certified CNAs ready to learn
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required background checks

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with patient hygiene, bathing, feeding and toileting assistance
Competent in taking and documenting vitals and observing patient status
Familiarity with basic infection prevention and safety procedures
Good time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
Empathetic bedside manner and clear verbal communication
