Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts, days vary (specific start/end times to be confirmed) - Acute care shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care in an acute care setting
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver excellent care
Maintain accurate documentation of care and patient observations
Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state of practice)
Prior acute care experience preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED required; successful completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of acute care patient needs and basic nursing procedures
Skilled in safe patient handling and mobility assistance
Comfortable with charting and following care plans
Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
