Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Location: Inglewood, CA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: PRN / Per Diem, flexible scheduling (shifts vary based on facility needs; schedule arranged with hiring manager)

Candidate Pay Rate: $40 - $45.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist to help residents regain function
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote functional independence
Monitor resident progress and promptly report changes to the supervising OT
Maintain accurate, timely documentation to support continuity of care
Collaborate with nursing and rehab team members to optimize resident outcomes

Qualifications

Active California COTA license required
Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work PRN/per diem with a flexible schedule and professional reliability

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and COTA scope of practice
Skilled in assisting with ADLs and functional mobility
Strong documentation and clinical reporting skills
Ability to follow treatment plans and communicate observations to supervising OT
Comfort working in a SNF environment and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
