Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Monitor and document patient condition, reporting changes to the nursing team
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain patient safety standards
• Collaborate with nurses and support staff to deliver excellent, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; T-CNA noted as applicable
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtained upon hire
• Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Current immunizations and willingness to complete facility-required screenings
• Successful background check and drug screen as part of onboarding
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset

Education

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and patient handling
• Strong infection control practices and understanding of safety protocols
• Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy environment
• Adaptability to different facility routines and resident needs
