Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Support safe and comfortable transfers, mobility assistance, and positioning
Help maintain a clean, safe environment aligned with infection control practices
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with colleagues and families
Build trusting relationships with residents through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — bring your credentials and compassion
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain promptly
Standard health requirements: TB test, immunizations, and background check as required by facility
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and a willingness to be a team player
Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to provide excellent resident care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care principles and activities of daily living
Skill in safe resident transfers and mobility assistance
Familiarity with documentation and charting best practices
Ability to observe, prioritize, and report resident concerns
Compassionate interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
