Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support while following facility protocols
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Follow infection control practices and help keep the care environment clean and safe
Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing (state required)
Ability to work 12-hour shifts as a per diem caregiver
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
Willingness to complete background check and required onboarding paperwork
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic resident care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families
Basic charting and documentation skills
Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Dependable, punctual, and able to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
