Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and grooming to preserve dignity and comfort
Provide compassionate hands-on care including transfers, ambulation and meal assistance
Take and record vital signs, report changes to the nursing team promptly
Maintain a clean and safe environment, following infection control best practices
Document care accurately and communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team members
Support resident social and emotional needs by engaging in friendly conversation and activity participation

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (state of Pennsylvania preferred)
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude
Previous long term care or nursing home experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant procedures and resident care
Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
Familiarity with infection prevention and safe patient handling
Good documentation and basic charting skills
Teamwork, time management and strong interpersonal skills
