Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
• Support safe transfers and fall-prevention practices to keep residents secure
• Assist with meals and feeding while encouraging good nutrition and dignity
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Follow infection control protocols and promote a clean, comfortable environment
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families, offering respectful support

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the appropriate state
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus
• Able to pass background check and drug screening as required
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skills in activities of daily living (ADL) assistance
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and observations
• Knowledge of infection control and basic patient safety protocols
• Good charting and time-management abilities
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills for resident-centered care
