Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (varied days), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening (2nd) shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
Monitor and accurately record vital signs, intake/output, and observations
Support the nursing team by communicating changes in patient condition promptly
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Document care and interventions clearly and timely in the charting system

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) - Pennsylvania preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused attitude
Prior experience as a CNA or in long-term care is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
Taking and recording vital signs accurately
Basic infection control and safety practices
Clear, respectful communication with patients, families, and team members
Basic charting and documentation skills
Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively in a clinical team
