Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes in condition
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to support patient comfort
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection prevention protocols
• Document care clearly and communicate updates to nurses and the interdisciplinary team
• Support mealtime assistance and basic hygiene needs with dignity and respect
• Respond promptly to patient call lights and prioritize patient safety at all times

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Clear background and health screenings as required by facility policy
• Compassionate patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to work nights and handle the physical demands of the role

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with basic nursing procedures and patient care techniques
• Ability to take accurate vital signs and recognize clinical changes
• Basic charting and documentation skills, attention to detail
• Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
• Strong teamwork, time management, and interpersonal skills
