Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift; days vary)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and resident condition during your shift
Assist nursing staff with safe transfers, bathing, dressing, and feeding
Document care accurately and communicate changes in resident status to the team
Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
Comfortable working overnight shifts and able to respond to changing needs
Ability to follow care plans, document clearly, and work collaboratively with the team
Background checks and immunizations as required by facility policy
CPR certification preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental patient care skills including bathing, toileting, and feeding assistance
Basic knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
Clear verbal and written communication skills for handoffs and documentation
Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition
Teamwork mindset and a calm, patient-centered approach
