Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, evening shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs, communicate changes promptly to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, maintaining dignity and comfort
Support feeding, bathing, dressing and toileting while encouraging independence
Document care accurately and timely in the patient record
Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Reliable, compassionate approach to patient care with strong communication skills
Ability to follow infection control practices and facility policies
Comfortable with physical demands of the role, including lifting and standing

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completed state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic nursing procedures and patient safety practices
Skilled in taking vital signs and observing/reporting patient changes
Ability to document care clearly and follow care plans
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
Familiarity with maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients
