Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days not specified, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and document vital signs and changes in resident condition accurately
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and personal hygiene while preserving dignity
Communicate observations and resident needs clearly to nurses and the care team
Help maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Support mealtime assistance and nutritional needs, including meal setup and feeding
Build rapport with residents and families to promote comfort and emotional well-being

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Prior experience as a CNA preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Basic ability to read, document, and follow care plans
Comfort with physical aspects of the role, including assisting with mobility

Education

CNA certificate or state-approved nursing assistant training (required)
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental patient care and ADL assistance
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection prevention and standard precautions
Safe transfer and positioning techniques
Clear, professional communication with residents and the care team
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
