Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
• Provide compassionate, respectful support to residents to preserve dignity and comfort
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean environment
• Support safe resident transfers and use proper body mechanics to prevent injury

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Valid state CNA listing or ability to obtain/transfer credentials for Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings and immunizations
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a caring attitude

Education

• Completion of an approved CNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe patient handling
• Familiarity with infection prevention and patient safety best practices
• Clear verbal and written communication for accurate documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Time management and prioritization during busy shift periods
