Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening/PM shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct resident care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and feeding in a respectful manner
- Measure and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in resident charts
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment
- Communicate clearly with residents, families and interdisciplinary team members
- Support a positive, resident-centered experience and promote dignity at all times
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification - required
- Active CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania or ability to obtain state certification
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Background check and drug screen clearance as required by facility
- Reliable transportation and ability to work per diem shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar clinical setting preferred
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Competence in providing hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
- Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
- Compassion, patience and a resident-first mindset
