Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients, ensuring dignity and comfort
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to nursing staff
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for patients
- Support nursing team with routine tasks and timely documentation
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members to coordinate care
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Comfortable assisting with mobility and physical patient needs
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate bedside manner
- Previous CNA experience preferred but motivated new CNAs are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient hygiene, transfers, and assistance with activities of daily living
- Knowledge of basic infection control and safe patient handling practices
- Ability to take and document vital signs and observe for clinical changes
- Comfortable using electronic or paper charting systems for documentation
- Good communication and teamwork skills in a clinical setting
- Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
