Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients with dignity
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor and report changes in condition to nursing staff to ensure timely care
• Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate findings clearly
• Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Document care and observations promptly and professionally in the patient record
• Collaborate with the care team to create a positive, person-centered experience

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, active in Pennsylvania
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass required background checks, TB screening, and health screenings
• Comfortable with hands-on patient care and assisting with mobility
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evening/PM shifts as scheduled

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and basic personal care
• Proficient at taking and recording vital signs and observing patient changes
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling techniques
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
• Adaptability to work in fast-paced clinical settings and handle shifting priorities
