Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures with focus and precision
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, cath lab instruments, and procedural equipment
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and vital signs throughout procedures and report changes promptly
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and techs to ensure smooth, efficient case flow
• Document procedures, device usage, and patient information accurately and timely
• Educate and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures with compassion

Qualifications

• Minimum: 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience (explicitly stated in job data)
• Cardiac Cath Lab Technician experience and familiarity with cath lab workflows
• Current BLS required; ACLS and other cath-lab relevant certifications preferred
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care skills
• Ability to follow sterile technique and maintain attention to detail in fast-paced procedures

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and cath lab equipment
• Proficient in sterile technique and infection control practices
• Skill in patient hemodynamic monitoring and EKG rhythm recognition
• Familiarity with instrument tracking, supply management, and documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
• Awareness of radiation safety principles and basic imaging support
