Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled occupational therapy evaluations and treatments tailored to each patient
Assess functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans that drive meaningful progress
Document patient care clearly and timely in the medical record
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and facility staff to coordinate excellent patient care
Communicate with patients and families about goals, progress, and home strategies
Participate in orientation and any required trainings to stay current with facility protocols

Qualifications

Licensed Occupational Therapist (state licensure as required by facility) or eligible for licensure
Previous clinical experience providing OT services preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification as required by facility policies
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to pass facility onboarding and background checks

Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field (as required by licensure)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in occupational therapy assessment and intervention techniques
Familiarity with documentation best practices and clinical outcome measurement
Comfortable working with diverse patient populations and adaptive equipment
Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
Good clinical reasoning and time-management skills
