Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient condition changes accurately
• Support nursing staff with routine clinical tasks and resident transfers
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Communicate clearly with the care team and families to ensure coordinated care
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in resident records

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
• Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and required immunizations
• Comfortable working nights and able to perform physical aspects of care
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
• Basic vital signs monitoring and reporting
• Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
• Familiarity with charting and basic electronic medical records
• Time management, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
• Compassionate patient interaction and family communication
