Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs accurately, reporting changes to nursing staff
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and the care team
• Document care and observations in the patient record in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or obtained upon hire
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Comfortable working evenings and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• State CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Skill in taking and documenting vital signs and observations
• Familiarity with infection control practices and PPE use
• Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling
• Good time management, teamwork, and compassionate bedside manner
