Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and personal hygiene with dignity and respect
• Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively during handoffs
• Support a positive, team-focused environment to improve patient experience
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe care setting

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
• Current state authorization or license as required for CNAs
• Comfort and experience working overnight/night shift schedules
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
• Ability to perform physical aspects of resident care safely and compassionately

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Familiarity with safety, infection control, and patient handling techniques
• Ability to observe and report clinical changes accurately
• Teamwork, time management, and compassionate bedside manner
