Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Perform daily hygiene, mobility assistance, and safe transfer techniques
• Document care accurately and communicate clearly with the care team
• Support a positive patient experience through respectful, person-centered care
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Ability to work overnight shifts and provide consistent, reliable coverage
• Comfortable with patient transfers, bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Pass required background checks and meet facility immunization or screening requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and vital sign monitoring
• Skillful in safe patient handling and infection prevention practices
• Familiarity with electronic or paper charting and documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
• Team collaboration with nurses, therapists, and support staff
